The smell of the air...

Many of you know that I am not an ocean-fanatic. And yet, I love living by the sea. How come? Well, I guess one thing is the opportunity of taking long walks on the beach or just sitting in the sand and watching the waves roll in and out in their eternal back and forth.

Another - and I wanna say more important - reason is the smell of the air you breathe when you're around the ocean. I cannot get enough of it! Being on the beach or close to the water for only a few minutes is enough... and everything seems to be tainted with this scent of the ocean. I LOVE it..:-)
I keep telling Nick that if he could make it happen that I could always smell this scent I'd love him even more... haha.

To me, this particular smell represents only positive and good things. It reminds me of all those lazy summer days of the past. It reminds me of clear and clean air. It brings back only great memories. They don't even have to be related to the ocean... but the scent simply reflects the pureness of the moment... the newness of each spring that comes around every year and with it new dreams, new experiences, new memories, and new hopes...
If there was a way I could capture this scent in a bottle.. I'd do it... but I guess, I will have to return to the sea over and over again... which is not half bad;-)

Fruehlingsgefuehle

Temperature is rising...

... yeah yeah yeah... I cannot wait till we're getting into those double diggets (celsius) for good. I don't need 30C (anything above 75F), but man... it's been way toooooooo cold for my taste lately...

Anyways...Yesterday, I almost had a face-to-face (or should I say bumper-to-bumper) encounter with one of those american drivers who apparently won his driver's license in the lottery... I LOVE 'EM... I'm going onto Butler and this idiot in his rusty-blue old Cadillac is right behind me. He's so close behind me that I cannot even see the hood of his car anymore. I was not in my greatest mood as it was already so I kept thinking: If this a-hole is kissing my behind, I am gonna kick his... I keep checking my rearview-mirror and can totally tell that the idiot is doing everything but paying attention to the road. I already had this imagine in my head: He bumps into the back of my car, we stop, we get out of the car and I will just yell at him from the bottom of my lungs... HA... that would have been one hell of relief for my shitty mood:-) But he managed to change lanes and eventually left Butler without hitting me. Good for him...

I keep phrasing my Disney-report in my head... haven't really gotten to it yet. It'll come, it'll come - as well as pics will come.I promise.
But for now, I have to get going with my Dreamweaver studies....
Cheers :-)
